Ink

We also looked at the ways to use ink in our last class – with brushes and nib pens, with markers and ink pens, with various papers… Most of the class, we just looked. But there was time to try it out, too.

Now, my paper is not water-colour or ink-wash friendly, but it was still fun to try. Using a nib pen, you have to hold it much farther from the tip than a usual pen – so your technique is forced to become more expressive! Same with brushes.

Fun, versatile, but very, VERY messy medium!
